Sunny and bright so headed to the coast for a walk along the beach. Only a few days left before dogs are banned from the beach so was wonderful to get out.
Dog, Daughter and Husband shared the day.
Walked all the way to the pier, stopped for chips and mugs of tea before heading back to the car. Big sky, big breaths; how is it that simple things can make one feel so good?
Well the snow has gone, but it's still cold and the rain has created paths of churned mud.
But hidden in the leaves can be seen the shoots of the bluebells. Spring is quietly on its way.
An essential for walking in these weather conditions; my Sorel boots. Back in November they seemed the height of extravagance but I have been able to walk in snow, rain and mud while feeling warm, and even on ice with no loss of grip. Marvellous!
